Our leaders identify the technical talent best suited to bolster our client’s capabilities, across all industries, including, healthcare, government, finance, legal, real estate, and startups.The OpportunityTECKpert is looking to hire a Senior Quality Assurance Manager to manage the testing of infrastructure remediations required for systems integrating with a new enterprise accounting system. This is an effort to modernize core financial systems assets supporting financial planning, analysis, and management functions. The assets include interfaces, enterprise applications, databases, automated processes, and reporting programs within the organization, requiring remediation due to the adoption of standardized business processes, transition to new chart of accounts values, and redevelopment of interfaces to the statewide accounting system.This role will support this modernization effort over the next three years.The ideal candidate with have background in financial systems and experience in managing testing processes in IT modernization projects.Primary job duties include, but are not limited to: Analyze the current quality assurance practices and recommend future state practices and tools. Establish quality assurance metrics.  Manage the definition, implementation, and integration of quality principles and quality processes into the design and development of software IT processes. Perform knowledge transfer to Quality assurance staff. Ensure that quality measures and procedures are executed. Ensure that products, applications, and systems are following the established quality standards and meet customer requirements. Champion the application of quality principles in business and IT processes through training, meeting and team facilitation, communication programs and team building activities.  Research, develop, and implement testing methods and procedures to ensure that products meet the highest quality standards while integrating with the new accounting solution. Monitor, track, and report on defects. Compensation and TermThis opportunity is for a full-time, contract position with possible extensions and pay commensurate with experience up to $150,000 per year. Medical, dental, vision and life insurance available after 30 days of hire.Qualifications you need A successful Senior Quality Assurance Manager has the following experience: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or another related field. A minimum of seven (7) years of professional experience in Software Quality Assurance testing. A minimum of five (5) years of prior management experience, supervisory, or team leader experience. A minimum of two (2) years of leadership experience with Enterprise Architecture. A minimum of two (2) years of prior experience with transportation technology. A minimum of five (5) years’ experience in developing and conducting test processes for multiple types of systems, client users and/or units across an organization. Experience in a DevOps environment is highly desired. Knowledge of Informatica IICS Cloud Data Integration tools and Snowflake. Working with usWorking with TECKpert means more options.
